Join an exciting locum opportunity providing in-house general surgery coverage in Lebanon, PA. Perfect for physicians who want focused surgical practice with weekend call coverage and no outpatient clinic duties.
Job Responsibilities
Provide 24-hour in-house surgical coverage on scheduled call days 🏥
Manage adult patients requiring general surgical care
Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure high-quality patient care
Document patient care in EPIC EMR system
Handle a wide range of general surgery cases; robotic experience preferred but not required
Qualifications
Board Certified in General Surgery ✔️
Pennsylvania medical license required
DEA required
Robotic surgery experience preferred but optional
Credentialing timeframe: 60-120 days; temporary coverage available with a clean file
Working Hours
24-hour in-house call shifts
Scheduled on dates of availability, typically weekends, up to 1 week at a time
Skills
Broad general surgery expertise
Ability to manage acute in-house surgical cases independently
Strong communication and teamwork skills
