Contract Length: 6 months minimum (flexible, dependent on recruitment)
Shift: 24-Hour Call (1 week at a time)
About the Role:
WellSpan Health is seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon for in-house call coverage. This role offers the chance to practice a wide range of general surgery procedures in a hospital setting with a supportive team.
Highlights:
- 24-hour in-house call coverage
- No outpatient clinic; focused on inpatient care
- Upper and lower endoscopies are not required
- Work at a 252-bed hospital with diverse patient populations
- EPIC EMR system
Qualifications:
- Board-Certified in General Surgery
- Pennsylvania medical license (IMLC considered)
- DEA registration required
- Robotic surgery experience preferred but not required
- Strong general surgery acumen
