We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Surgery Physician to be an integral part of our healthcare team. Required Skills:
- Board certification in General Surgery
- Valid medical license in the applicable state
- DEA certification
- Extensive general surgery expertise with a broad skill set
- Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to perform a wide range of surgical procedures
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with robotic surgery techniques
- Proficiency with the EPIC electronic medical record system
- Prior experience working in hospital settings with diverse patient age groups
- Familiarity with emerging surgical technologies and innovations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency surgical practice
- Prior experience in a hospital environment preferred
Other Requirements:
- Commit to 24-hour call shifts, typically weekends, with availability for up to one week at a time
- Ability to support approximately 0.5 full-time equivalent (FTE) coverage per month
- Willingness to undergo credentialing process, estimated between 60-120 days; temporary coverage available with a clean file
- Knowledge of EPIC electronic medical records system
- Must be able to travel if required and hold all necessary certifications and licenses
