Join Our Team as a Surgery Vascular Physician – Play a Vital Role in Advanced Vascular Care

Are you a dedicated Vascular Surgeon looking to make a meaningful impact in a leading medical facility? We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Surgery Vascular Physician to provide exceptional care at a reputable Level 1 trauma hospital. This opportunity offers a challenging and rewarding environment where your expertise will directly improve patient outcomes and advance vascular health.

In this role, you will support a busy vascular surgery department, managing a variety of consults and surgical procedures within an innovative hybrid OR setting. With the support of onsite residents and comprehensive resources, you will play a pivotal role in a multidisciplinary team dedicated to excellence in vascular care.

Required Skills:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
  • Valid PA medical license
  • DEA certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-training experience
  • Proficiency in EMR systems, specifically EPIC
  • Ability to handle high patient volume with professionalism and efficiency

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in angioplasty and hybrid surgical procedures
  • Familiarity with trauma surgeries and complex vascular interventions
  • Strong communication and patient management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Active PA licensure and certification in Vascular Surgery
  • At least 1 year of clinical practice in a hospital setting focused on vascular interventions

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work 24-hour beeper call shifts, scheduled as follows:
    • May 15 (7 am) – May 22 (7 am)
    • May 29 (7 am) – June 5 (7 am)
    • June 12 (7 am) – June 19 (7 am)
    • Ongoing one-week monthly shifts
  • Travel and licensing reimbursements as applicable
  • Credentialing within 90 days with a clean file
