We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Plastic Surgery Physician to provide exceptional inpatient care at a leading Level 1 trauma center. Required Skills:
  • Board Certification in Plastic Surgery or Board Eligible
  • Valid Pennsylvania Medical License
  • DEA Certification (Pennsylvania)
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in plastic surgery
  • Proficient with EMR systems, specifically Epic
  • Ability to perform advanced procedures within a Level 1 trauma setting
  • Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in trauma or emergency reconstructive procedures
  • Subspecialty training in cosmetic or reconstructive surgery
  • Experience in multidisciplinary team collaboration
  • Advanced procedural certifications

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • At least 5 years of post-residency experience in plastic surgery
  • Prior experience working in hospital-based settings, particularly Level 1 trauma centers

Other Requirements:
  • On-call coverage primarily from 7:00 AM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday, with schedule flexibility based on provider availability
  • Support for approximately 6-8 shifts per month
  • Ability to work shifts of 24 hours, including overnight on-call
  • Credentialing can be expedited, typically within 90 days
