Exclusive Locum opportunity for Cardiothoracic Surgeons! Manage urgent cardiac surgical cases including TAVRs, rounds, and dual clinic responsibilities. Assignment starts May 10 and is ongoing, combining clinic, procedures, and call coverage. Work with an experienced APP support team using EPIC EMR in a 596-bed hospital setting.
Job Responsibilities
• Clinic sessions: dual structural heart clinic on Fridays
• Pre- and post-op patient management and rounding
• Night and 24-hour call coverage as scheduled
• Collaborate with APPs, surgeons, and specialty teams
Qualifications
• PA state license required (or willing to obtain)
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year recent experience
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
Working Hours
• Night call: 3:30pm – 7:00am
• 24-hour call: 7:00am – 7:00am
• Coverage 1–2 weeks per month, ongoing assignment
Skills
• Ability to manage high-acuity, urgent cases
