Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Neurological Surgery
- Valid California Medical License and CA DEA registration
- Fluoroscopy (FLURO) certification (temporary or permanent)
- Proven experience managing complex spine cases
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to maintain a clean, credentialing-ready professional file
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with hospital call coverage
- Familiarity with complex spine and cranial procedures
- Comfort with managing urgent and emergent cases
- Previous experience in a locum or temporary physician role
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certification in Neurological Surgery
- Minimum of 2 years post-residency hospital clinical activity in neurological surgery
- At least 100 recent cases aligned with requested privileges within the past 24 months
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work flexible hours including clinic, day, and night call shifts
- Ability to complete a thorough privileging process within approximately 90 days
- Cover consecutive dates starting from April 30, 2026, through June 8, 2026, with potential for additional assignments
- No airway certification required
