Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) with BUMG - Phoenix

Banner – University Medical Group, in partnership with Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix and the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, is seeking a BC/BE Urologist with special interest in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) to join our Department of Urology. The Department of Urology has active plans to establish a urology residency program, as well as an accredited URPS fellowsip program. You'll play a pivotal role in training the next generation of urologists while advancing clinical innovation.

Well-qualified candidates will hold a faculty appointment with the University of Arizona commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

· Clinical duties: Outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, OR cases, and shared call coverage

· Specialized care for patients with female pelvic health and reconstruction of the urinary tract

· Highly specialized in female pelvic floor disorders

· Surgical and non-surgical management

Qualifications:

· Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Urology (Urology training required to fulfill call coverage needs)

· Subspecialty Fellowship in Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) (1-2 year)

· Unrestricted Arizona Medical Licensure (or eligible to receive)

· DEA license with current prescribing privileges (or eligible to receive)

· Commitment to academic and clinical excellence

· Experience with diverse patient populations

· Collaborative mindset to support program growth

Work Schedule: Full-Time; Monday – Friday + shared call coverage (opportunity for additional paid call)
