• Ongoing: ~5–7 days/month (additional dates TBD)

🏥 Hospital & Role Highlights:

• Setting: Community hospital with Level 3 Trauma Center

• Call Only: In-hospital general surgery + consult coverage

• Call Volume: ~15–20 calls/24 hours

• Average Surgeries: 10/day

• Annual ER Volume: 27,000

• EMR: Epic

• ORs: 10 total, with a highly trained surgical team

• Demographics: Adults 18+, no pediatrics

• Other Staff: Works alongside 1 other general surgeon + APPs

🛠️ Procedures You’ll Perform:

• General surgery (adult + trauma)

• Central line & PA catheter placement

• Chest tube insertion

• Vascular access

• Cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, appendectomy, bowel resections

• Trauma management for internal organ injuries

✅ Requirements:

• Board Certified in General Surgery

• Ohio License – REQUIRED

• Certs: BLS, ACLS, ATLS – REQUIRED

• Clean file only

• Must be available for July dates
