Locums – Florence, Oregon, General Surgery Opening
Clinical Role:

Current scheduled need: 5–10 days per month

Preference for one provider who can cover all listed dates
Coverage Dates:

April 14 – Orientation shift

April 15–20
-
May 14–25

July 9–13
-
September 2–15
-
September 28 – October 13 (flexible coverage; provider does not need to cover all of these dates)
Schedule:
-
Standard clinic day: 8:00am–5:00pm (9 hours)
-
Clinic Monday–Friday
-
Night call (beeper call)
-
24-hour weekend call coverage
-
24-hour call primarily for ED coverage with occasional clinic follow-up support
-
Average onsite/callback time: approximately 8 hours per 24-hour call shift
Practice Setting:
-
Critical access hospital
-
Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
-
Clinic and hospital privileges required
-
21-bed facility
-
Adult patient population
-
Average of 10 patients per day
-
Reason for coverage: gap in coverage
-
EMR: Epic
Required Procedures:
-
General surgery procedures in a critical access hospital setting
-
Colonoscopy required
-
Endoscopy required
Requirements:
-
Active Oregon license required at time of presentation
-
ACLS certification required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
