Locums | Trauma Hospitalist NP/PA | No Call | Robbinsdale, MN Why This Role

  • Level I trauma center with high-acuity inpatient exposure
  • Autonomous APP role with 24/7 trauma surgeon support
  • In-house only coverage with no call responsibilities
Assignment Details Dates of coverage: May–July Up to full-time availability Primarily functioning as a trauma hospitalist rounder In-house coverage only, no call Local providers preferred Clinical Details Level I adult trauma center with pediatric capability Average daily census: 10–14 non-ICU patients or 6 ICU patients Admissions and ED consults range from 2–15 per 24 hours Responsibilities include daily rounding, ED trauma alerts, admissions, procedures, and facilitating discharges APP works autonomously with trauma surgeon onsite 24/7 EMR: Epic Patient population: Primarily adult and adolescent (ages 0–100+) Requirements Board Certified APP (ACNP, AGNP, or PA-C) Active Minnesota license at time of name clear ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required DEA required (verbal confirmation acceptable at name clear) Minimum 1 year inpatient APP experience required, ideally with trauma, ICU, or orthopedics Self-Query NPDB required at presentation and must be current within 30 days Local candidate preferred Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
