Job description
Our Medical Center, located in Kentucky, is growing with the addition of an employed full-time General Surgeon!
Position Details:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
- 5 provider group: 3 surgeons/2 experienced APPs
- Ambulatory practice on hospital campus
- Intensivist-staffed ICU
- Inpatient and Outpatient Wound Care
- Average patient per clinic day: 15-20
- 3 DaVinci XI Robots
- Call: 1:4
- Locum support to ensure a work-life balance.
- APP covers inpatient rounding
- Dedicated OR assists
Office Practice:
- 8a-5p Mon-Thur. 8a-2p Fri.
- Staffed with an on-site manager, nurses, office clerks, and a scheduler.
- Patients are booked in 15-, 30-, or 60-minute increments.
- Common procedures: excision of skin lesions, I&D of abscesses or seromas, anoscopy & hemorrhoid banding
