Required Skills:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Thoracic Surgery or Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Proven experience in minimally invasive and open thoracic procedures
- Excellent surgical skills with precision and attention to detail
- Ability to handle complex cases with professionalism and confidence
- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
- Knowledge of current surgical technologies and techniques
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adhere to strict timelines
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with robotic thoracic surgeries
- Fluency in additional languages
- Participation in research, publications, or professional surgical societies
- Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of a thoracic surgery fellowship
- Minimum of 3 years of post-fellowship clinical experience in thoracic or cardiothoracic surgery
- Relevant state medical licensing and board certifications
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to cover available on-call shifts and irregular hours as scheduled
- Travel reimbursement and licensure assistance provided when applicable
