Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon (Fellowship-Trained in Orthopedic Trauma) to join a dynamic, multi-specialty team in Beaumont, Texas. As part of a collaborative surgicalist model, you will provide acute orthopedic trauma coverage while contributing to high-quality patient outcomes and supporting professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma care in the Emergency Department, Operating Room, and inpatient settings
- Maintain response coverage within 30 minutes, ensuring timely and expert care for trauma patients
- Collaborate with cross-specialty teams including trauma surgery, acute care, anesthesia, and rehabilitation
- Participate in surgical decision-making, performance improvement, and quality initiatives
- Mentor and supervise mid-level providers and trainees, fostering education and clinical excellence
- Contribute to performance, compliance, and protocol initiatives
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO, with successful completion of an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Active Texas medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Proficient in acute orthopedic trauma techniques, including complex fracture management
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
