* Practice Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency Department, Wound Clinic
* Schedule details to be discussed
* Candidates must reside within 1 hour of the hospital

Clinical Details:
* Provide comprehensive general surgical care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings
* Perform common general surgical procedures including: Hernia repair, Cholecystectomy, Endoscopy, Appendectomy, Management of small bowel obstruction, Colorectal surgery and Skin and soft tissue procedures
* Evaluate and manage acute and chronic wounds within a multidisciplinary Wound Clinic model
* Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, physician assistants, perioperative teams, ED clinicians, hospitalists, and wound care staff
* Provide patient and family education on procedures, risks, benefits, and post-operative care
* Review diagnostic testing and manage abnormalities
* Offer surgical consultation for palliative care, pain management, and end-of-life support
* Participate in departmental meetings and ongoing professional development
* Maintain OSHA Category I compliance

Requirements:
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
* Completion of an accredited General Surgery Residency
* MD or DO from an accredited medical school
* Active Vermont Medical License
* DEA prior to start
* CPR for Healthcare Providers
* Proficiency in surgical techniques and procedures
* Clean malpractice history
* Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days at presentation)

Compensation Info:
* Base Salary: $285,000 - $320,000 annually
* Additional productivity-based incentives
