We are seeking a Board-Certified General Surgery Physician for a long-term locum tenens opportunity in Pendleton, Oregon. This position offers a structured block schedule with a mix of clinic, call, and surgical responsibilities in a supportive hospital setting.
Position Details
- Schedule:
- Monday – Friday clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 24-hour call coverage required
- Assignment Length: 7–10 day block schedule for approximately one year
- Coverage
Includes:
- Scheduled outpatient clinic visits
- Post-operative care
- Inpatient and emergency consults
- Scheduled and emergency surgical procedures
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive general surgery care in clinic and hospital settings
- Perform a full range of general surgical procedures
- Manage post-operative patients and follow-up care
- Respond to emergency surgical cases while on call
- Collaborate with hospital staff and ancillary services to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
- Board Certified in General Surgery
- Active Oregon medical license
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Active DEA
