Job Opportunity: Locum Neuro Physician in Youngstown, OH

St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital provides comprehensive care and is known for its efficient handling of urgent and emergent cases as a Level 1 trauma center. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide surgical care for adult and geriatric patients with emergent needs.
• Conduct neurosurgery and spine surgery procedures, including:
  • Neurosurgery Cases (Adult and Trauma)
  • Brain Bleed Stoppage
  • Clot Removal
  • Tumor Removal
  • Trauma Repair
  • Shunt Insertion or Revision
  • Spine Stabilization and Reconstruction
  • Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty
  • Spinal Fusion
  • Laminectomy
  • Diskectomy
• Provide on-call assistance for 24-hour shifts, 1 week per month.
• Work closely with a team of neurosurgeons, including in-house neuro IR services.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Neurosurgery.
• Active Ohio Medical License.
• Availability for specified coverage dates in March.
• Mandatory Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Ohio Medical License - no exceptions.
• Board Certification in Neurosurgery.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Self-Query NPDB report within the last 30 days.
