We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Neurosurgery Physician to provide exceptional trauma care in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma hospital. Required Skills:
- Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Neurosurgery
- Active Arizona Medical License or eligible via IMLC
- Valid DEA registration in AZ
- BLS certification
- Proven experience in trauma neurosurgery
- Ability to handle a high-volume caseload with professionalism and precision
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in acute trauma settings
- Additional trauma or critical care certifications
- Bilingual abilities for diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Minimum of 2+ years post-residency experience in trauma neurosurgery
- Prior work in Level I Trauma Centers
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on 02/21/2026
- Willingness to work a 24-hour day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) with on-call responsibilities
- Engagement in a busy, high-volume trauma environment with approximately 6 surgeries and 6 patient consultations daily
- Must adhere to licensure, certification, and credentialing timelines (credentialing within 3 days)
- Eligible for reimbursement of licensure, certifications, travel, and other related expenses
