We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Neurosurgery Physician to provide exceptional trauma care in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma hospital. This critical role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate team committed to saving lives and advancing surgical excellence. Required Skills:
  • Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Neurosurgery
  • Active Arizona Medical License or eligible via IMLC
  • Valid DEA registration in AZ
  • BLS certification
  • Proven experience in trauma neurosurgery
  • Ability to handle a high-volume caseload with professionalism and precision
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency with Cerner EMR system

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in acute trauma settings
  • Additional trauma or critical care certifications
  • Bilingual abilities for diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Minimum of 2+ years post-residency experience in trauma neurosurgery
  • Prior work in Level I Trauma Centers

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to start on 02/21/2026
  • Willingness to work a 24-hour day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) with on-call responsibilities
  • Engagement in a busy, high-volume trauma environment with approximately 6 surgeries and 6 patient consultations daily
  • Must adhere to licensure, certification, and credentialing timelines (credentialing within 3 days)
  • Eligible for reimbursement of licensure, certifications, travel, and other related expenses
