We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Surgery Cardiothoracic Physician to join our reputable healthcare team. This pivotal role offers the chance to contribute to complex surgical procedures within a busy trauma and specialty environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and advancing your professional expertise.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Proven proficiency in cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures, including CABG, valve repairs, aneurysm repairs, and minimally invasive techniques.
- Valid MN Medical License or IMLC certification.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in high-pressure situations.
- Strong knowledge of trauma protocols and emergent care procedures.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to handle on-call rotations, weekend shifts, and diverse case types.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with TAVR, lead extractions, and structural heart procedures.
- Familiarity with robotic and thoracoscopic surgery.
- Background in cardiac electrophysiology is a plus.
- Prior trauma surgery experience preferred.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-residency experience in a similar setting.
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-volume surgical caseloads.
Other Requirements
- Availability to start on or around March 16, 2026.
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 call rotation, including overnight and weekend shifts.
- Must submit a complete application file for consideration.
- Travel and licensure reimbursement eligible where applicable.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay Rate: $322.34
- Competitive pay packages with weekly direct deposit.
