Coverage Needed:
- Start Date: March 28th, 7 AM
- End Date: April 6th, 7 AM
- Schedule: 24-hour call coverage
Clinical Details:
- Coverage Type: Call coverage only, no clinic coverage
- Trauma Level: II
- Procedures: Thoracic surgery and cardiovascular component
- Patient Load: Approximately 10-12 patients per week
- Consults: Approximately 3-5 consults over 7 days
- Surgeries: 1-3 surgeries per week (usually 1 cardiac and 2-3 thoracic cases)
- Annual Practice Volume: About 80 hearts per year
- Support Staff: 1 APP, 1 MA, 1 MOS, 1 RN
- EMR: Meditech
Requirements:
- Must have Utah license and Utah DEA
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
