A well-established community hospital in Vermont is seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible MD/DO General Surgeon to join its collaborative surgical team.

Responsibilities Include:

Provide comprehensive surgical care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings

Perform common general surgical procedures including:

Hernia repair
-
Cholecystectomy
-
Endoscopy
-
Appendectomy
-
Small bowel obstruction management
-
Colorectal procedures
-
Skin and soft tissue surgeries
-

Manage acute and chronic wounds within a multidisciplinary Wound Clinic model
-
Provide patient and family education regarding procedures and post-operative care
-
Participate in departmental meetings and ongoing professional development
Requirements:
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
-
Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency program
-
MD or DO degree
-
Active Vermont medical license (or ability to obtain)

Strong operative and clinical decision-making skills
-
Clean malpractice history
