This full-time Orthopedic Surgeon opportunity offers a thriving hospital-based practice with access to MAKO robotic technology, dedicated orthopedic OR suites, and strong PA support. Ideal for surgeons with a focus in Hand Surgery or Foot & Ankle, this role combines high-volume clinical practice (25+ patients daily), collaborative team culture, and exceptional New England work-life balance. Join an established orthopedics & sports medicine team delivering comprehensive musculoskeletal care in a modern community hospital setting.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform surgeries utilizing advanced MAKO robotic technology
• Evaluate and treat a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions
• Manage 25+ outpatient clinic patients per day
• Participate in 1:4 general orthopedic call rotation (PA-supported first call)
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants, and care teams
• Utilize EMR for clinical documentation and coordinated care
Qualifications
• Completion of accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency
• Vermont Medical License (or willingness to obtain)
• DEA, BLS, and CPR certifications
• Clean malpractice history
• Subspecialty training in Hand Surgery or Foot & Ankle (Highly Preferred)
