ConnectHealth is seeking a highly skilled Surgical First Assist to support a busy Cardiovascular Surgery team in Modesto, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider looking for steady, consistent surgical assisting work in California with a structured schedule and no call responsibilities.
This role is ideal for an experienced surgical professional who thrives in the OR and is confident assisting on high-acuity cardiovascular cases.
Job Responsibilities
Provide strong intraoperative support in a high-volume surgical setting
Work collaboratively with surgical team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Qualifications
Board Certified required
BLS required
ACLS required
Strong surgical assisting background required
Must be comfortable supporting cardiovascular surgery cases
Working Hours
8-hour scheduled shifts
No call
No rounding
Scheduled clinical hours only
