Job Title: Locum Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon
Join a dedicated team at a well-regarded medical center in Davenport, Iowa! This facility provides a supportive environment with a focus on orthopedic trauma care. The practice accommodates inpatient requirements across two campuses, ensuring comprehensive care for patients. You'll have access to operating rooms every day, allowing for seamless management of orthopedic traumas and same-day add-ons.
Job Responsibilities:
- Cover orthopedic traumas and same-day add-ons.
- Manage inpatient responsibilities at both Davenport and Silvis campuses.
- Participate in on-call duties, providing hospital-based care.
- Collaborate with a team of 8 physicians and 8 advanced practice providers.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation.
- Work in an environment with access to medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy services.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery - REQUIRED
- Active Iowa and/or Illinois License or Active IMLC - REQUIRED
- Fellowship Trained in Orthopedics - REQUIRED
- Must have significant experience in orthopedic surgery - REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice history - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current medical license in Iowa and/or Illinois.
- Board certification in orthopedic surgery.
- Fellowship training in orthopedic surgery.
