Exciting Opportunity for Neurosurgery Physicians: Locum - Surgery - Neuro

Required Skills:
  • Board Certification in Neurosurgery
  • Valid medical license to practice in Michigan
  • Proven experience in adult neurosurgical procedures and trauma management
  • Ability to handle emergency and critical care cases including brain bleed management, spine surgeries, and stress monitoring
  • Strong knowledge of hospital-based practice standards and EMR systems, preferably Epic
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working in Level 2 trauma centers
  • Prior locum or temporary coverage experience
  • Additional certifications in trauma or critical care
  • Familiarity with rapid credentialing processes

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of neurosurgery residency and board certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-residency clinical practice in neurosurgery with trauma focus

Other Requirements:
  • Availability for a schedule spanning Friday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM (including 24-hour call coverage)
  • Credentialing ability within 90-120 days
  • Willingness to travel with all flights, accommodations, and rental car expenses reimbursed
  • Compliance with all hospital, state, and federal medical standards

This position offers an hourly pay rate of $18.72, along with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage, paid sick leave, licensure and certification support, and reimbursement for travel and related expenses.
