- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 3 is looking for a provider to cover beeper call only. There are an average of 7-10 patients per shift.

Job Responsibilities
* Evaluate and manage inpatient and outpatient surgical consults as needed
* Respond to call requests in a timely manner
* Coordinate care with the facility’s clinical and support teams
* Document patient encounters accurately using Medhost EMR
* Ensure high-quality, patient-centered surgical care
Qualifications
* Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Surgery
* Active New Mexico state medical license
* Ability to obtain emergency credentialing with a clean file
* Experience managing surgical patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
* Comfortable working in a stroke-certified, trauma level 3 facility
Working Hours
* ASAP start with ongoing need
* Beeper call coverage
* Average of 7–10 patients per shift
Skills
* Effective decision-making under call-based coverage
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably Medhost
* Ability to manage patient care efficiently in a call-only role
* Adaptability and reliability in an ongoing coverage assignment
