Job description
We are seeking a Neurosurgery Physician to provide comprehensive neurosurgical care in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Compensation: $4,900 per 24-hour shift
The neurosurgeon will evaluate and manage emergent and inpatient neurosurgical cases, working closely with hospital leadership, emergency medicine, trauma services, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure timely, high-quality patient outcomes.
Schedule & Coverage
- Coverage Requirement: 183 twenty-four (24) hour shifts per year
- Shift Structure: Continuous 24-hour call
- Administrative Duties: None
- Partial Year Coverage: Shift requirements are prorated for partial calendar years
Responsibilities
- Provide neurosurgical consultation and call coverage for emergency and inpatient cases
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute neurosurgical conditions
- Perform neurosurgical procedures as clinically indicated
- Collaborate with ED, trauma, ICU, and inpatient teams
- Ensure clear, timely documentation and communication across care teams
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
- Eligible for medical licensure in North Dakota
