Physician - Surgery - Orthopedic Surgery in New Mexico

Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: 7 on 7 off schedule with call coverage every other week; 3 days in clinic and 2 OR days based on procedural volume
• Job Setting: Level 3 Trauma facility with full clinic staff and anesthesia available
• Types of Cases: 20-25 patients per day in clinic; minimal call back per call shift; most patients admitted to hospitalist and covered next day
• Credentialing: 30 days
• Start Date: 3/1/2026 - Ongoing

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible
• Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Licensure: New Mexico state license required

• Arthroscopy
• Total Joint replacement (Hip, Knee, Other)
• Joint revision or repair (Shoulder, Hip, Knee, Other)
• Hand
• Tendon release/repair
• Peripheral nerve surgery
• Spine surgery with instrumentation (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar)
• Spine surgery without instrumentation (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar)
• Percutaneous disc surgery
