Asheville, NC hospital is seeking an experienced acute care surgeon to join their busy program. The trauma center is currently ACS level II, and they have completed a level I consultation visit. Equal mix of trauma, surgical critical care and emergency general surgery. No 24-hour shift requirement; day shifts are 10.5 hours; nights are 13.5. Large, stable and established group; worked together for many years; Minimal turnover. Close team collaboration, support and coverage including time-off requests. Surgical residency offers opportunity to teach. Resident support on trauma, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery services. APP support on trauma and emergency general surgery service. Competitive salary driven by MGMA data and industry benchmarking.
