Job Title: Locum Physician - Surgery - Orthopedic

This facility is looking for a skilled Orthopedic Surgeon to provide 24/7 coverage of the Emergency Department and inpatient consultations. Job Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 coverage for the Emergency Department and inpatient consultations.
• Deliver full general orthopedic coverage, managing higher-level patients as needed.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with support staff in the OR to ensure optimal patient care.
• Respond to on-call requests promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery (REQUIRED).
• Active State License (REQUIRED).
• Completion of an ACGME or AOA approved residency (exceptions may apply, but actively working in the field is required).
• DEA certification required during credentialing process.
• CA fluoroscopy certificate needed by the dates of coverage.
• Clean malpractice history is highly preferred.
• Availability at the time of name clear (REQUIRED).
• A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation (REQUIRED).

License and Certification Requirements
