Required Skills
- Board-certified Neurosurgeon (no board eligible candidates)
- Proficiency in spinal and cranial surgical procedures
- Ability to perform emergent surgeries and inpatient rounding
- Experience working with Cerner EMR system
- Excellent diagnostic, decision-making, and communication skills
- Ability to handle emergent cases and work independently in a hospital setting
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience in neurocritical care
- Prior experience working in a dedicated hospital environment
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary collaboration, including orthopedic spine surgeons and APPs
Preferred Education and Experience
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of neurosurgery residency
- Active medical license in Michigan or eligible for licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency neurosurgical experience
Other Requirements
- Availability to start on 01/01/2026
- Willingness to work 24-hour call shifts (14 days per month)
- Must have valid certifications and licenses as required
- Travel, lodging, and related expenses to be covered per client policies, with specific caps; no third-party bookings or taxes reimbursed
- Use Doctime to clock in/out; no paper timesheets
