Required Skills
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) with valid medical license in Washington
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Level II trauma settings
- Proven proficiency in a full spectrum of orthopedic procedures (excluding complex pelvic cases)
- Ability to manage orthopedic trauma cases independently
- Strong ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records system
Nice to Have Skills - Trauma fellowship training or specialized trauma experience
- Experience working with dedicated physician assistants and support staff
- Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic clinics
- Additional certifications in orthopedic trauma management or related areas
Preferred Education and Experience - Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in orthopedic surgery within a Level II trauma setting
- Demonstrated competency in managing diverse orthopedic trauma cases and outpatient procedures
Other Requirements - Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
- Ability to start as soon as credentialed, with an expected onboarding period of approximately 90 days
- Willingness to work 24-hour call shifts, including nights and holidays
- Candidates with trauma experience but lacking fellowship training are encouraged to apply, provided credentialing requirements are met
- Must be familiar with EPIC EMR system
- Availability for ongoing coverage up to 2 weeks per month, flexible based on internal staffing needs
