Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Neurosurgery Physician to provide locums call coverage in Petoskey, Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a well-supported hospital setting with full on-site resources and an experienced neurosurgical team.
Position Details:
- Schedule: 14 days per month
- Call: 24-hour call coverage, including weekends
- Patient Volume: Approximately 5–10 inpatients per day
- Scope of Practice:
- Emergent neurosurgical call coverage
- Emergency surgeries
- Daily inpatient rounding
Practice Setting:
- Imaging, laboratory, procedure rooms, and OR all on site
- EMR: Cerner
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Neurosurgery
- Active Michigan medical license
- ACLS certification required
