Assignment Details
• Start Date: January, 2026
• Schedule: Monday–Friday (day shifts)
Weekly Schedule
• Monday / Wednesday:
○ 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
○ Includes local procedures not requiring anesthesia
• Tuesday / Thursday / Friday:
○ 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
○ General surgery cases
• Fridays:
○ May be allotted to Orthopedics as needed based on caseload
Practice Setting & Case Mix
• Critical access hospital setting
• High endoscopy volume
• Typical surgery days include:
○ Endoscopy (average 5–6 cases per general surgery day)
○ Bread-and-butter general surgery
• General surgery volume has been lighter recently
○ Approximately 5–10 general surgery procedures per month
Call Expectations
• No after-hours call required
