- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified, trauma level 3, and PEDs level 2 is looking for a provider to cover beeper call only. There is an average of 3 patients per shift and 3 beds in the department.

Job Responsibilities
* Respond to beeper call as needed during assigned coverage dates
* Evaluate, manage, and treat surgical patients as required
* Coordinate care with hospital staff and interdisciplinary teams
* Ensure timely and accurate documentation in Cerner/Athena
* Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
Qualifications
* Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery
* Active and unrestricted New Mexico medical license
* Eligible for hospital credentialing within the stated timeframe
* Experience in inpatient surgical care preferred
Working Hours
* Coverage dates: December 18, 2025 through December 21, 2025
* Inpatient setting
* Beeper call coverage
Skills
* Ability to manage low to moderate patient volumes efficiently
* Effective communication with medical and support staff
* Proficiency with Cerner and Athena EMR systems
* Strong time-management and decision-making skills
