Job Description:

When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” Provo blends small-town charm with big-city amenities, offering affordable living, great schools, and year-round outdoor recreation.

About this role:

As a PRN General Surgery APP, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care and an exceptional patient experience. This role supports a busy general surgery service on an as-needed basis and plays a key part in helping the team adapt to growing patient volumes and ongoing service expansion. The ideal candidate brings prior surgical experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing excellent patient-centered care.

  • You’ll practice at Intermountain Utah Valley Hospital
  • Your schedule may vary based on patient care and department needs, including weekends and holidays
  • You’ll provide 100% inpatient care with no clinic hours or general surgery call expectations
  • You’ll round on acute care surgery patients, assist with consults and discharges, and support OR procedures
  • New grads may be considered, but prior surgical experience is strongly preferred

How we'll support you:

We care about your well-being, which is why we provide our caregivers with a generous benefits package. In addition, we offer paid time off, license reimbursement, malpractice insurance coverage, and an annual CME allowance to support your continuous growth and development. Learn more about our comprehensive benefits package.

What you’ll bring:

  • Unrestricted Utah NP or PA license
  • Current Utah DEA certificate required prior to start date
  • Current BLS and ACLS for healthcare providers
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
