We are seeking an experienced Locums Vascular Surgery Physician to provide weekend 24-hour call coverage at a Level I trauma center in Youngstown, Ohio. This role is ideal for a board-certified specialist skilled in managing urgent and emergent vascular cases in a high-acuity environment.
Shift Type:
24-hour
Schedule: Weekend coverage
On-Call Requirements: Yes – 8 AM to 8 AM
Call Schedule: Night
Call Ratio: 50%
Trauma Level: Level I
EMR: Epic
Key Responsibilities
- Provide night call coverage during weekend 24-hour call shifts
- Manage emergent and urgent vascular cases (average of 10 cases per day)
- Perform inpatient consultations and evaluate patients promptly
- Coordinate care with trauma, ICU, ED, and hospitalist teams
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in Epic
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Vascular Surgery and FACS
- Active Ohio medical license – no exceptions
- Valid DEA
- Current BLS and ACLS
