- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified, trauma level 2, and PEDs level 1 is looking for a provider to cover beeper call only. Weekend call coverage is needed to support call volume, primarily involving ER call and inpatient work, with the possibility of some outpatient duties. Call shifts will generally run from 7:00 a.m. on Friday to 7:00 a.m. on Monday, twice a month.

Job Responsibilities
* Manage ER call and inpatient cases as needed.
* Perform outpatient duties when necessary.
* Support weekend call volume and respond to urgent surgical needs.
Qualifications
* Board-Certified or Board-Eligible.
* Active Texas state medical license.
* Ability to complete credentialing within the required timeframe (45 days).
Working Hours
* Weekend call shifts from 7:00 a.m. Friday to 7:00 a.m. Monday.
* Coverage needed twice a month.
* Assignment dates: 2/6/2026 – 12/31/2026.
Skills
* Experience with outpatient surgical care.
* Familiarity with Athena and Meditech EMR systems.
* Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond quickly to critical cases.
