We are seeking a Board-Eligible (BE) General Surgeon for an ongoing Locum Tenens assignment in Texas, focused on providing weekend call coverage to manage increased call volume.
Assignment Details
- Specialty: Surgery - General
- Start Date: February 6, 2026
- End Date: December 31, 2026
- Coverage Type: Call Only (Weekend Call)
- EMR: Athena & Meditech
- License: Active Texas (TX) License required.
- Credentialing Timeline: 45 Days
Schedule & Scope of Work
- Schedule: Weekend Call to help cover with Call Volume. Mostly ER call and Inpatient work with possibility of some outpatient work. Call shifts will generally be 7 am Friday to 7 am Monday twice a month.
- Scope: The coverage will primarily involve ER call and Inpatient work, with the possibility of some outpatient work.
Requirements
- Certification: Board Eligible (BE).
- Life Support: BLS required.
