General Surgeon Locums Opportunity – Longmont, Colorado (IMLC Accepted)

Coverage: January 23 (7 AM) – January 26 (7 AM)

• 24-hour call coverage

• Ongoing sporadic coverage: approximately 3-4 shifts total for all locums

Setting:

• Inpatient, Emergency Room, Level III Trauma

• Number of beds: 39

• Census/Admissions: 1

• Patient population: Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, & Geriatric

• Support Staff: Echo Tech, Lab Tech, Nuclear Tech, X-Ray Tech

Procedural Requirements:

• No upper or lower endoscopies required for this surgery site

EMR Training:

• Module (learn lessons) – Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training

• EMR Virtual (PPL) training – Must complete modules first; virtual training must be finished at least one week prior to first day

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in General Surgery or truly Board Eligible (0-5 years post-residency)

• Active CO license or IMLC (LOQ in hand at submission)

• Active ATLS required

• Active DEA highly preferred (site will accept a transferred DEA but must maintain it for the duration of the assignment)
