Job description We are seeking an Ortho-Trauma Surgeon for a 7-day locum tenens assignment in California, beginning Feb 16, 2026. This opportunity offers 24-hour call coverage from a hotel with a 30-minute response time, covering 10 days per month on specified dates. The ideal candidate will have ortho-trauma fellowship training and be comfortable handling 1-2 procedures per day.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide 24-hour ortho-trauma call coverage
  • Respond to emergencies within 30 minutes from hotel accommodations
  • Perform 1-2 orthopedic trauma procedures per day
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to fill coverage gaps
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Epic EMR

Additional Information
  • Must have active California license
  • Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery required
  • Ortho-trauma fellowship training required
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Fluoroscopy Certification required
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
