Job description We are seeking a board-certified or truly board-eligible Urologist for a locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Jan 19, 2026, for 88 days. This role features a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week with 24-hour call responsibilities, including both weekday and weekend coverage. Candidates must have an active NY license and be open to a credentialing process that may require up to six weeks, though an earlier start is possible.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Round on admitted urology patients across various hospital settings
  • Provide on-call coverage in the Emergency Department, hospitalist service, surgical units, and ICU
  • Respond to urgent urological consults as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care

Additional Information
  • Must possess an active New York medical license
  • Board certification or true board eligibility in Urology required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required (may consider candidates willing to obtain the missing certification prior to the start date)
  • Candidates must be comfortable with 24-hour call responsibilities
  • Credentialing process may take up to six weeks, but earlier start dates will be considered if possible
