Employed Hip & Joint Orthopedic Surgeon Opportunity - Harlingen, TX Seeking a Hip & Joint Orthopedic Surgeon in Harlingen, TX. Join an established group with experienced providers in General, Hand, Trauma, and Sports Medicine. Valley Baptist Medical Center is a highly regarded 586-bed acute care hospital with a stellar reputation for service and quality! Highlights: Office located in MOB is connected to Valley Baptist Hospital, walking distance to Hosp OR 2-3 days in clinic and OR block times, able to adjust as needed Clinic Hours M-F 8a-5pm 70/30% IP/OP Est 3-5 call days/month (includes General Ortho Call) Practice includes Ortho Trauma provider that provides coverage @ VBMC Dedicated Ortho/Trauma floor Candidate Requirements: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship training or extensive experience in Hip & Joint Replacement preferred Trauma Certification is a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive guaranteed salary with productivity bonuses Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, life, disability, and 401(k) with matching Malpractice insurance provided Paid time off for vacation and CME with stipend In-house support for billing, coding, collections, IT, HR, and legal About the Facility: A 586-bed Level II Trauma Center and regional leader in comprehensive care, with the potential for privileges at our sister facility in Brownsville.
