Job Details

- Schedule: Wednesday (Clinic, 8am-5pm), Thursday (OR, 7:30am-3:30pm), Friday (Clinic, 8am-5pm)
Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct pre-operative consultations and post-operative follow-ups
- Perform surgical assessment and management of patients with benign and malignant breast disease
- Supervise advanced practice providers (APPs)
- Independently round on inpatients
- Field calls from outpatients and the emergency department on assigned days
- Schedule and manage clinic appointments (typically 15-20 minutes each)
- Review ED consults as needed, with support from an inpatient PA group
Additional Information
- Board certification in General Surgery required (will consider board eligible within one year)
- Must hold or be eligible for a Massachusetts medical license
