Clinic, OR, and Trauma Call Coverage

365 Healthcare is seeking a LOCUM Plastic Surgeon to provide full-time clinic, OR, and call coverage. This assignment includes weekday patient care, scheduled operating time, and a rotating call schedule.

Compensation

• $3,008 per 24-hour on-call shift

• Call-back compensation: $340

• Lodging provided

• Travel reimbursement (flight or mileage)

• Rental car reimbursed

• Mileage reimbursed per federal guidelines

Position Highlights

• Full-time clinical and surgical LOCUM need

• 36 patient contact hours per week

• Monday–Friday schedule

• Clinic hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

• OR/Procedure days: 2–4 per week

• Call rotation required (trauma + clinic/EMTALA)

• Scheduling options:

  • 7 on / 7 off, OR

  • 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

• Call-only initially; clinic/OR duties may be added

Practice Details

• Inpatient responsibility: Yes

• Telehealth: No

• Outreach: No

• Physician: 1

• APPs: 1 (no supervision required)

• Nursing support: 1:1

• Ancillary support: 0.5:1

• Clinic volume: 16+ visits per full day

• Patient demographics: surgical & cosmetic, all ages

• EMR: Epic

• Teaching opportunity: Yes

Clinical Responsibilities

• Trauma call

• ER consults

• In-office consults & procedures

• Reconstructive collaboration with breast surgery

Requirements

• Board Certified — Required

• Active Iowa license or Active IMLC (LOQ required) — Required

• Experienced Plastic Surgeon — Required

• Clean malpractice history — Required

• Must be available for 7 on/7 off OR 2 on/2 off — Required
