General Surgery Physician with Trauma Experience

We are seeking a skilled and motivated General Surgeon with trauma experience to join and lead a high-performing team at a Level III Trauma Center in El Paso, TX. This opportunity is with one of America’s pre-eminent Trauma and Acute Care Surgery groups, offering a dynamic case mix, professional development, and the chance to make a significant impact on trauma care in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a collaborative team of trauma surgeons and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Provide surgical coverage for a broad spectrum of emergency general surgery and trauma cases
• Collaborate closely with hospital administration, emergency department teams, and other specialties to optimize patient outcomes
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and trauma program development
• Participate in ongoing education, mentorship, and quality assurance activities

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in General Surgery – Required
• Surgical Critical Care certification – Preferred but not required
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a verified trauma program
