We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Surgery Cardiovascular Physician to provide exceptional care in a dynamic, high-stakes environment. This critical role involves performing a range of routine and complex cardiothoracic and vascular procedures, supporting our commitment to excellence in patient outcomes. Required Skills:
- Proficiency in cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures
- MN License or IMLC certification
- Experience with CABGs, valve surgeries, aortic aneurysm repair, atrial fibrillation surgery, carotid endarterectomy, congenital heart procedures, coronary artery bypass, minimally invasive and robotic heart surgeries, TAVR, heart failure surgeries, LVAD implantation, pacemaker placement, thoracoscopic surgeries
- Ability to handle routine cases reliably and efficiently
- Excellent decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to adapt to shift rotations and call responsibilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional experience with structural heart procedures or complex endovascular interventions
- Familiarity with emerging minimally invasive surgical techniques
- Previous exposure to trauma or emergency cardiovascular surgery settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board-certified or eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Minimum of 3 years surgical experience in a similar setting
- Prior experience with trauma or emergency procedures is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Valid MN Medical License or IMLC certification
- Ability to start around January 12, 2026, with flexibility regarding project timelines
- Availability for the scheduled shift: 07:00 – 17:00, Monday through Friday, with 1 in 3 call rotation including day, overnight, and weekend shifts
- Ability to submit a complete application package, including clean records
