A healthcare organization in Northern Michigan is seeking a Board Certified General Surgeon for short-term locum coverage. The provider will handle general surgical cases, including trauma and pediatric, during 24-hour on-call shifts over a 4-day period.
Job Responsibilities
Manage adult, trauma, and pediatric surgical cases.
Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure patient care continuity.
Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation.
Qualifications
Active Michigan Medical License – Required
ACLS Certified – Required
Minimum 2 years of recent General Surgery experience – Required
COVID-19 vaccination at name clear – Required
Working Hours
Schedule: 24-hour call (7 AM – 7 AM)
Weekend/Call: Required
