### Overview:
* Seeks an experienced, community-invested General Surgeon (BC/BE) for a full-time position in Alice, TX.
* This is a unique opportunity to build an autonomous practice with a diverse and professionally rewarding caseload, allowing you to utilize the full spectrum of your general surgery skills.
* The position requires at least 5 years of experience and Monday-Friday availability.
* The typical week blends several clinic days with block surgery days covering procedures like gallbladders, hernias, EGDs, and colonoscopies.
* The call schedule is flexible.
* A highly rated 135-bed, Level 4 trauma center.
* The facility features four ORs and two G.I. suites, supporting approximately 850 surgeries and 28,000 ER visits annually.
* It is also home to the region's only rural cardiac Cath lab.
* Not-for-profit health care system serving the needs of its communities for more than 117 years

### Qualifications:
* MD or DO with ACGME-accredited General Surgery residency
* American Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery
* At least 5 years of experience is required
* Licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas
