Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK
Position: Full-time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 AM-4 PM
Call: 1:9 shared orthopedic call rotation
Trauma Level: III
Hospital Type: Tertiary care center with over 60,000 adult ED visits annually
Case Mix: Includes peri-prosthetic fractures, disarticulations, pilon fractures, acetabular and pelvic fractures, tibia plateaus
Support: Excellent subspecialty consultant support and efficient ORs with advanced equipment
EMR: Epic with DAX Copilot available
Current Staff: 1 total joint, 2 foot and ankle, 5-6 sports med doc that do some joints. Plastic surgeon hands, spine surgeons who are ortho/neuro
New role, no current traumatologist, coming in like we have our hospitalist, GI hospitalist, surgicalist, they would have a room they can operate on daily
Take all the patients that come in during the day, the ortho surgeons would take call at night, trauma surgeon would partake in the call schedule but not on call every night and share call with everyone else
Will be the only traumatologist for now
Looking for someone with experience
Will get level two even through it's a level 3 facility
